The second British qualifier yielded more medals for Basingstoke's synchronised ice-skating squad.
The senior team, Storm, won gold, the novice team, Sparkle, were slightly disappointed with their silver medal, and the youth team, Stardust, showed great improvement in their skating, although they could only equal the bronze medal they won in the first qualifier.
All three teams are now looking forward to the British Championships in January, while Storm and Sparkle have been selected to represent Great Britain in the new year. Their first international will be in Milan on February 11-12.
The squad are grateful to their sponsors who enable the teams to succeed - Hampshire County Council, Hampton Sponsored Ride, Basingstoke & Deane Council and CIO Connect.
Anyone wishing to contribute in any way to the national and international success of these teams should contact coach Melissa Galvin at Planet Ice (01256 355266).
