RIDERS at the Hampshire Riding Therapy Centre in Eastleigh have raised funds needed to compete in a national show.

The horse riding charity for children with disabilities and lifelong health difficulties, still needed to raise £800 to compete in the Royal London International Show.

With some last minute fundraising by riders, and donations from Daily Echo readers, the centre raised more than £1,400 to cover the costs of entry.

Centre manager Kerie Coutts said: "The response was amazing and people were very generous in donating for specific activities for the centre."

Kerie will be joining young riders Victoria Homden, aged 16 and Georgia Walsh, aged 14, in performing at the show on Saturday.
