In Division One, the two bottom sides featured in an exciting match, when Philip and Tacey entertained Wolversdene B.
It looked like a long evening as the first three games turned into five set marathons, two going the way of the home side and the other to Alan Hewlett of Wolversdene.
Nick George and Gerry Vaughan then secured two more to give P and T a 4-1 lead. John Shepherd replied with a couple of fine wins over Frost and Vaughan, with Fox adding another, but three wins for Nick George was the difference between the two sides as P and T recorded their first win of the season, 6-4.
