CFL UK-sponsored Andover RFC carried on where they left off last season in the County Cup with a win.
On what was a cold and wet afternoon, the Hampshire All Blacks played good rugby in poor conditions. This week saw a welcome return to action for full-back Chris Reilly, as they managed to field an almost full-strength side, which has been a rarity this season so far.
In past weeks it's been the backs that have dominated the home side's play, but that all changed, with one of the most committed team performances this season. From the off, Andover showed power and control at the scrum, and the line out was at its most effective for some time with clean ball on most occasions.
