Sir.-With regard to the Tesco express protest, as reported in Monday's Gazette.
What a pathetic load of moaners they all are.
Did they not have gangs hanging around before Tesco arrived?
Oakridge is well known, and has been for years, for gangs of yobs hanging around.
If gangs are asked to move from outside the store and they move just down the road or whatever, what the hell is it to do with Tesco staff?
They did their bit by getting them to move in the first place.
At the end of the day, it is not Tesco's fault - this estate has gangs.
I feel that the fault lies with the parents who do not give a hoot what their kids are up to!
Why don't the protesters get together and tell these gangs to move if they've nothing better to do but moan?
Give a thought to the staff at the store who put up with abuse from the gangs but still find a smile when they serve customers.
