A LITTLE bit of colour goes a long way.
That was the message to a group of youngsters from the Ashcroft Arts Centre in Osborn Road.
Armed with cans of spray paint, the 12 children created a mural masterpiece on one of the car park walls as part of a two-day art workshop.
Tutors Rob Euroh and B-boy Suspence of All Elements taught them the tricks of the trade.
Mr Euroh said: "We call it spray can arts and not graffiti because we teach young people to be creative and artistic with a spray can.
"Controlling spray to produce a piece of art is not as easy as people often believe, which is why you'll get a great sense of achievement when your finished piece turns out better than expected."
