THE spectacular West End success that is Tell Me On A Sunday is heading straight for Southampton's Mayflower this week.
The musical stars Marti Webb, pictured right, who was last on stage at The Mayflower back in the summer of 2002 as Anna in The King and I.
The singing star is returning to the role created especially for her.
Tell Me On A Sunday was originally a hit album and television special written for Marti in 1979 by Andrew Llyod Webber and Don Black.
It was such a hit that it took to the West End and Broadway and today has been reworked with five brand new songs, ready to perform at The Mayflower.
The London-born star received widespread acclaim for her unforgettable performance in the original production, in which she sings her million selling hits, Take That Look Off Your Face and Unexpected Song.
Tell Me On A Sunday tells the story of a young English woman's search for love in the United States.
