Tim Oately and Lee Pettitt formed the Monks Pool Syndicate just over six years ago with an original stocking of 15 fish at between 8lb and 11lb from John Patons famous Fishers Pond stock.

Twelve months later Spot hit 30lb for the first time and topped 35lb after 24 months. In the spring Spot made 36lb and has put on a staggering 10lb 3oz since March and now the sky's the limit for the fish making headlines nationwide.
