On a dreary, cold and wet Saturday afternoon the loyal supporters who faced the elements were entertained by a game full of twists and turns, emphatic finishing and poor defending, even though the scoreline did not end in the home side's favour.
It was Romsey who settled first, and there was no surprise when the away side got on the scoresheet through top scorer Simon De'Ath after 20 minutes.
