THEY do not come more spectacular than a production which is taking centre stage at Hamble Community Sports College.
Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is one of theatre's most popular musicals and it has won standing ovations from audiences around the world.
It is the Satchell Lane college's choice for its annual school production. Earlier this week the pupils and staff were working hard in rehearsals and backstage to put the finishing touches to the musical.
Musical director Adam Brunink said it was one of the biggest productions staged by the college. The 70 strong cast, aged 11 to 16, have been rehearsing since September.
Tickets have been selling fast for the four- night run, which ends on Saturday. Sponsors are Livewire Theatre Consultants and Da Mar Scaffolding.
The show has many colourful costumes which have been made by staff and parents.
