ACCESS: There is now no access to the Oakridge Centre.
LOLLIPOP man: Ron, our lollipop man, has now been relocated further up Vivian Road to a better location so that parents and children can cross the road more safely.
MESSAGE to parents: While your children are out playing, could you inform them not to be tempted to climb the fencing to gain access to the building areas or destroy the fencing that has been put up?
This fencing is there for everyone's safety, especially now that the old Oakridge Centre will soon be demolished.
HIGH street paths: These are still being abused by cars and delivery lorries.
PLANTING: Phase one and two is going on into January.
GROUND works: Are due to start shortly following the completion of demolition of Myland and James Close.
Just to pre-warn the community, all the old materials from the demolition site area will have to be taken away in the near future.
Discussions are taking place about the best way of removing this material without causing too much disruption to you all.
You will be informed of the plans when they become available.
SOUTH View Infant School: A Christmas fair is being held on December 2, from 5.30pm to 7pm.
Any donations of toys and other items will be gratefully received.
OAKRIDGE Festival committee: If anyone is interested in joining the committee, please get in touch with me.
CONTACT me: Call me on the number above with any news or events.
