ODIHAM Christmas Extravaganza: Will be in full swing next Thursday.
A Chinook from RAF Odiham will be doing a spectacular low flight along the High Street at 6.30pm to officially open the event.
Local shops will be open for some late-night shopping and there will be a traditional farmers' market.
There will also be a piped band plus entertainment of the dark and mysterious kind from our own Hook Eagle Morris Men.
Hook and Odiham Lions will be there helping to raise funds for worthwhile local causes.
Please remember that if you are driving to the extravaganza, the whole of the High Street will be closed to traffic.
THEATRE: Tickets are on sale now for Hook Players' production Fish out of Water, by Derek Benfield.
There will be three performances - on December 2, 3 and 4 - at the Elizabeth Hall.
Tickets are £6, £4 for concessions, and are available from Trees Newsagents or by calling 760365.
B3349: Maybe the fairies did make an appearance after all as, overnight, the cones and diggers have disappeared and the road is open once again.
