Stockbridge 4 Brading 1
Stockbridge put on a good display to beat Brading in a game they dominated from start to finish.
The Robins took the lead after only three minutes through new signing Gavin Flye, who impressed in his home debut playing up front alongside Mark Daubney.
Stockbridge began to knock the ball around well, and it was a surprise when Brading in a rare attack equalised through Ritchie Woodburn after 20 minutes.
The Robins upped the pace, and Dean Savage and Darren Turner went close with headers before Paul Atkins scored as he pounced on a rebound after the visitors' keeper could only parry a fierce drive from Daubney.
Andy Chainey should have put the home side further in front before the break, when he missed a golden chance, hitting the side netting when the goal was left open.
Stockbridge went 3-1 up through Daubney, Paul Atkins struck the crossbar with a good effort, and Flye brought a good save from the visitors' keeper with a clever back-header before Mark Butcher killed the game off.
