PRINTS of bygone Winchester are the theme for a calendar on sale in aid of the Mayor of Winchester's charities.
The calendars, produced for mayor Cecily Sutton, are on sale at the Tourist Information Centre in the Broadway, Winchester, and city museums.
Costing £4.99, the calendars also have small modern-day photographs as close as possible to the original views, which date back to the early 1800s.
The mayor said: "The calendar gives a glimpse of what Winchester was like nearly 200 years ago and many of the views are still recognisable today."
The mayor has chosen four charities to support during her year in office: HOPE, the Winchester branches of Samaritans and Multiple Sclerosis Society and Colden Common Minibus.
