SKULDUGGERY at the stables... Which equine evil-doer let the horses out of the field behind Church Farm last week?
Luckily they were caught in Newnham before causing any accidents or being hurt themselves.
The tack room next to the stalls has also been broken into and damaged, so the police have been informed, and Neighbourhood Watch is keeping a note of the registrations of vehicles parked there.
Such thoughtless vandalism has no place in our village, so keep a sharp eye out for any dubious activity and let your Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinator know.
PLAY the pipes of peace... Recorder groups have started in the run-up to Christmas at Whitewater School, and we would like to find a few more volunteers to teach small groups of young students.
You don't have to be able to play yourself, but an ability to read music would be very helpful.
Please see Mrs Malone in Class 2 (Wednesday to Friday) if you can help.
