SOUTHAMPTON'S women capped a good weekend for the club by notching their third successive FA Women's Premier League Southern Division win.
Goals by 16-year-old Kim Stenning, Gemma Woodford (penalty) and Nicki Watts put paid to Watford 3-0 at Winchester's Denplan City Ground yesterday.
The result was all the more commendable considering Saints were again without skipper Sam Howarth. The influential defender had been due back from suspension, but had to withdraw just before kick-off after being bitten on the lip by her dog.
