KASEY Keller is expected to come straight into the Saints team to face Pompey this afternoon.
As first revealed in yesterday's Daily Echo, the American international has been brought in on loan from Tottenham to add experience with both Antti Niemi and Paul Smith unavailable through injury.
Third-choice keeper Alan Blayney has deputised in the last two matches, but is still young and Steve Wigley wants a more experienced campaigner.
Although the transfer window is closed, Saints were granted special dispensation by the Premier League to bring in Keller.
Niemi is recovering from knee surgery, while Smith is sidelined by a thumb injury.
Keller, 34, has signed until December 9 after being ourt of favour at Tottenham in recent months where he has lost his place to England international Paul Robinson.
But the former Millwall and Leicester keeper has been playing internationals for the USA and has featured for Spurs in the Carling Cup at Oldham and Bolton.
