ONE of Southampton's favourite adopted sons was back in town to sign copies of his new book last weekend.
England and Saints legend Peter Shilton spent two hours talking to hundreds of fans that had queued to meet the history-making goalkeeper at Waterstone's Above Bar as part of a national tour to promote his book, Peter Shilton - The Autobiography.
Now 55, Shilton, who made 242 league and cup appearances for Saints between 1982 and 1987, admitted that his time at the Dell was one of the most enjoyable periods of his career.
