MANAGER Graham Kemp was a happy man as Brockenhurst halted their recent slide with an inspired 1-0 win at fifth-placed Andover.
Dave Midgley, who has turned down the chance to join Hamworthy United, bagged the 90th-minute winner, cutting in from the right from a pass by Nick Kemp and firing across keeper Colin Hopkins.
Hailing it "our best league performance for a year," relieved manager Kemp said: "No disrespect to Andover, but we could have won by three or four. We missed a couple of open goals and their keeper pulled off some brilliant saves.
"Fair play to the Andover manager Brian Le Boutillier. He came into the dressing room and clapped us and said we were superb."
