TOUGH-TALKING business leader Digby Jones is set to visit Southampton for a meeting with top city businessmen.
The CBI chief has barely been out of the headlines in recent weeks, tackling such tough topics as casinos, skills shortages and the war on terror in his trademark no-nonsense style.
Mr Jones is to chair a round-table discussion in the city looking at solutions to some of the region's business issues and how to boost the numbers of entrepreneurs.
The meeting takes place at Southampton Enterprise Hub at Chilworth Science Park on November 17.
Hub director Steve Davis said: "I am delighted such a high-profile figure has chosen to come to Southampton.
"The Enterprise Hub is helping to nurture the next generation of businesses in the south and he will be able to see first hand the expertise we have here, and to discuss the issues that really matter to entrepreneurs."
