VIABLES Community Association: A public meeting is being held on Friday, November 26, at 7pm, in the Four Lanes room, at the Viables centre.

CHURCH kitchen: On Tuesdays, from 12.30pm to 2.30pm, at Basingstoke Baptist Church, Gershwin Road.

Delicious home-made soup, such as cauliflower with bacon or Tuscan bean, is followed by cakes and tea or coffee at a cost of £1.50.

REMEMBRANCE Service: Christ The King Church will be holding a Remembrance Service on Sunday, November 14, at 9.30am.

MANOR Field School: Year 5 pupils enjoyed a trip to the ice rink in September.
