THE world's oldest hovercraft has gone into semi-retirement in Lee-on-the-Solent.
SRN6 has completed her last long journey from Belgium and is now making her home at the Hovercraft Museum at HMS Daedalus in Marine Parade West.
The last gas-turbined hovercraft launched the cross-channel service between Ramsgate and Calais in 1965 and has worked ever since.
The world's newest hovercraft, a Griffin 8000, paid SRN6 a visit before setting off from Southampton for a journey to Korea.
