THE Hampshire Intermediate Cup took centre stage for Southampton Football League and Hampshire League teams over the weekend.
Wellow (Owen Buttle, Sam Bennett and Paul Traies) lost out 3-4 to Mottisfont in a thriller, Mike Burgess (2) and Alan Bundy (2) winning it for Motts.
Steve Trott was Otterbourne's treble hero as they demolished Comrades 6-2. Alan Fookes also hit a treble as Ordnance Survey KO'd Burridge AFC 5-1.
AFC Target beat Lyndhurst 1-0 with a goal from Darren Walker, while Locksley Sports hit 13 past QK Southampton Reserves - Billy Cozens (6) and Scott Turner (4) doing most of the damage.
M&T Awbridge defeated Magpies & Woolbridge 5-4 on penalties, while Sporting BTC won 3-1 at Micheldever Reserves.
Malvern lost 3-1 at Brockenhurst and Hythe Aztecs lost 7-3 to Co-Op. Nursling beat Paulsgrove 2-1, Ian Bush netting the extra-time winner. Brendon (Liam Keites and Rich Way) lost 2-3 at home to West Wight.
