THERE are just two days to go before Southampton's 2004 fireworks spectacular.
Tickets are still available for the mammoth charity event, at the city's Mayflower Park, and about 10,000 people are expected to turn out.
Visitors will see live performances by Gabriella and Monica - better known as the Cheeky Girls - and Wave 105 FM presenter Dave Bradford will be hosting the evening.
There will also be a funfair running from 4pm on Saturday.
At 7.15pm the main event takes place, as the first rocket in a stunning £6,000 fireworks show shoots into the air from a barge moored just off the quayside.
Organiser Richard Hammond, from Southampton Round Table, said: "Last year we had thousands of people along, and we hope even if the weather is bad the die-hards will still be out. But it's forecast to be fine and we're hoping this will be an excellent event that will raise lots of money for charity."
Tickets cost £3 for adults and £2 for children - with all the cash going to Hampshire charities, including children's hospice Naomi House and women's charity Wellbeing.
To book, visit the Daily Echo shop just off the city's High Street.
