Donington Park was the venue for the final round of the BRSCC Super Coupe Cup, with local driver Matt Speakman needing to finish at least second in class, and ahead of rival Martin Young, to win the Rover Gti Championship.
Heading out for qualifying conditions were hazardous as half the track was dry and the other half wet. Nearly all competitors found the conditions very tricky, with many spinning and leaving the track.
