GHOST Night was an apt production for Hallowe'en.
A spooky atmosphere was created from the start by the slowly-opened curtain and creepy gramophone music.
A group of ladies arrive at a 'haunted house'. Amid the various strange goings-on Dawn Cresswell shines out as the nervous and unhappy Wendy.
Overacting from some of the other performers and slightly stilted dialogue in places slowed the general pace, losing the comic impact at times.
The second play of the evening was David Tristram's Last Panto in Little Grimley.
This is an amusing farce featuring an inept amateur dramatic group.
With lots of comic lines there was much to entertain the audience.
This gave the talented Andrea Cutler as Margaret the opportunity to demonstrate her versatility and excellent comic timing.
