ONE of the county's golfing gems made a welcome return to the Hampshire PGA tournament circuit when Bishopswood hosted their first pro-am since 1996.
The tournament even had to be rearranged this year after a thunderstorm had washed out the original date in July.
There was a three-way tie for first place between Steve Cowle, Mark Treleaven and the new Hampshire Open champion David Porter, who came home with four-under-par rounds of 68.
The largest prize table seen at a Hampshire PGA pro-am saw all of the 25 competing teams win a prize. Army professional Graham Cowley led John Timney, Paul Strudley and Mike Hever to the team prize.
