RICHARD Bland won't have to wait too long before re-launching his European Tour career.
After winning back his card with a 13th place finish in the Challenge Tour order of merit, the Stoneham tournament professional will head off for China at the end of the month to begin the 2005 campaign.
Bland had five top-five finishes on the Challenge Tour in 2004 and says that he'll go back on to the main tour as an improved player. "It's been a long, hard season and I'll need a holiday before going out to the Far East, but it's a chance to get some early points on the board."
The China Open starts the 2005 European Tour schedule followed by the Hong Kong Open on December 2.
There's even time to squeeze another event in before Christmas, the Dunhill Championship in South Africa which Justin Rose won two years ago who, incidentally, won't be playing this time around.
