Sir.-Thank you for promoting "our national day" with your St George's Day campaign.
I am Yorkshire born and take great umbrage at being told I do not exist as an Englishman!
How can we have a Queen of England, a Bank of England with English currency, English football and rugby teams and occupy the largest piece of UK land - called England - and still not be accepted as English?
Every St George's Day, I drive my car with two crosses of St George flying - one from each of my rear door windows.
And if I was able, I would fly a 6ft-by-12ft flag as well.
Long live the English and St George!
