CHEMIST in Popley: An appeal has gone in against the decision not to allow a chemist to be based at the Abbey Road shops, where one used to be for years until the Shakespeare Road surgery combination was opened.

Many residents would like to air their views on this matter. However, the venue for the appeal has not been disclosed.

So, those same residents held a "silent protest" to not voice their opinions.
