BRAMLEY newsletter: The autumn 2004 edition has just been issued by the parish council and gives us a wealth of information about the council, individual parish, borough and county councillors and the range of responsibilities.
Notes from the annual parish meeting in March are included along with a school report.
Communication, Bramley Youth Project and the Clift Meadow Trust have all given up-to-date details of the past year's progress.
Copies have been delivered to every household in the village, so you should have one.
Please contact the clerk on 881420 with any enquiry.
JUMBLE sale: The sale at Cross House on October 16 raised £230 for St James' Church funds.
The organisers thank everyone for the goods they donated, and thanks to those who helped at the sale, came and bought the bargains and stayed for refreshments.
FESTIVE Tudor lunches: Although The Vyne house itself closes after Sunday, there are November dates to remember.
From November 13 to December 1, Thursday to Sunday, from noon to 2pm, festive Tudor lunches will be served in the Brewhouse Restaurant, and on November 17 there will be a special festive lunch and shopping day with a free gift for purchases over £15.
Booking is essential for these lunch days. Contact 883858.
The shop will be open from November 13 to December 24, from 11am to 3pm, on Thursday to Sunday.
LUNCH club: Will meet on Wednesday, at 11.30am in the village hall.
For transport arrangements and information, contact Pat on 881509.
