STAFF are pictured here plumping up new pillows at the Holiday Inn, Southampton following a £1.2m makeover.
The nine-storey waterfront hotel, which is nearly 40 years old, has seen all its 130 bedrooms and conference rooms redecorated and kitted out with cosy furnishings.
Air conditioning has also been installed, along with four new bedrooms for disabled guests, and windows have been replaced, while the outside received a painted spruce-up.
