Southampton Institute's sports teams were largely unsuccessful this week in battles against other universities - and the weather.
The netball team travelled to Exeter, only to have the match abandoned during the third quarter due to the weather.
The rugby XV were thrashed 76-0 by Exeter, the women's hockey team lost 4-1 to Exeter and the men's hockey team were beaten 4-2 by Plymouth.
In Southampton, the women's football team maintained their 100 per cent record with a 4-0 win over Bristol, Hayley Chivers scoring twice.
The men's football team are still without a win after losing 3-1 at home to UWIC (Cardiff) with Sean Dobbs (penalty) replying late on.
The men's basketball side moved up to second place in the BUSA Premier table after beating Brunel 71-60 (Paul Silcox 18, Anthony Rutter 17).
The men's badminton team drew 4-4 with Aberystwyth.
