MONSTERS were in the air in Winchester this week - literally.
A 15ft inflatable Frankenstein's monster could be seen floating in the breeze outside of the Martin's Rover MG salesroom in Weeke.
The floating giant has caused quite stir in the city over the last few days with people stopping at the garage just to get their photos taken with it.
But all good things come to an end and with the promise of gale-force winds for later today, the Hallowe'en apparition has now vanished from Easton Lane.
Paul Harris, the dealer boss at Martin's Rover, said: "We have had inflatables up a couple of times now.
"We're obviously doing it for Hallowe'en, but we also thought we'd get something which would brightened up the outside a bit and this monster has certainly done that."
