EVEN Harry Potter could not escape the attentions of one of Eastleigh's eagle-eyed parking attendants.
The sight of Harry' s Ford Anglia on the forecourt of The Point was enough to make attendant Ray Pickett reach for his book.
But he entered into the spirit of the arts centre's Harry Potter Fun Day by pretending to issue a warning ticket to Harry, played by five- year-old Thomas Wigginton of West End.
Harry didn't need his magic wand to get out of this tight spot, however. The Point owns the forecourt so there was no danger of falling foul of the parking laws.
The search by the organisers for a Ford Anglia - used as a magical form of transport in J K Rowling's bestselling books about the young wizard - even included an SOS issued in the Daily Echo.
The Ford Anglia was lent by a Bishopstoke enthusiast.
The Potter-themed fun was all part of The Point's first Family Film and theatre Fest.
Events include daily screenings of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Shrek, as well as workshops and live theatre shows.
