A LARGE collection of medals, awards and personal best times were claimed by swimmers from the City of Southampton club at their James Moreno Open Meet held at The Quays.
There were top girl awards for Hannah Husband (10), Alice Bessey (13) and Amy Pope (12).
Joshua Smith (11) won the top boy award in his age group.
RESULTS:
10 year girls: Hannah Husband (speeding tickets in 50m Freestyle, (37.59, 50m Breaststroke, 49.21, and 50m Backstroke, 45.10, gold 25m Butterfly, 48.07), Zoe Miller and Mhairi-Clare Stewart speeding tickets in all their races, Lauren Hurst (gold 50m Breaststroke, 53.77, fifth 25m Butterfly, speeding tickets in two other races), Charlotte Ellis (gold 50m backstroke, 48.62, silver Hannah Cole, 49.28), Francesca Osborn, Bethany Whitehead, Lucy Pope and Catherine Crocker also swam well.
10 year boys: Elliott Olsen (gold 50m freestyle, 43.55, gold 50m backstroke, 49.86).
11 year girls: Daniella Alborough (third 50m butterfly, 49.17, seventh 50m breaststroke, 52.40, speeding tickets in 50m Freestyle and 50m Backstroke), Eleanor Carey (gold 50m Freestyle, 39.81, fifth 50m Butterfly, 49.17), Rebecca Foy (speeding ticket 50m Butterfly, bronze 50m Breaststroke, 49.15), Natasha Saunders also swam well.
11 year boys: Joshua Smith (gold 50m breaststroke, 49.13, gold 50m backstroke, 44.12, second 50m Butterfly, 44.84, speeding ticket 50m Freestyle), Daniel Saggs (medals in the 50m freestyle, 44.25, 50m backstroke, 52.19), Owen Marshall (medallist 50m backstroke, 49.81).
12 year girls: Amy Pope (silver 100m breaststroke, 1.38.89, silver 100m backstroke, 1.29.27, third 50m butterfly, 42.26, speeding tickets in the 50m and 100m Freestyle).

Hannah Musker also competed in the girls 11yrs fly and took four seconds off of her best time in 44.29 while Chandos Day won the 13 yrs boy trophy.
