ANDOVER police have launched a campaign to cope with two busy weeks starting with half-term next week followed by Hallowe'en and Bonfire Night.
Traditionally it's always been a busy time for police and this year is expected to be no exception.
Although they are not expecting any significant problems, to deal with the anticipated increase in on-street activity during half-term, police officers will be patrolling known hot-spots to ensure neighbourhood nuisance is kept to a minimum.
The Andover beat team will be out on their new mountain bikes with their helmet-fitted CCTV cameras, patrolling their respective neighbourhoods.
On Hallowe'en shift patterns have been adjusted to allow extra officers on late duties to target any misbehaving trick-or-trea-ters.
