ATHLETE Tanya Hunt decided to raise cash for the Hawk Conservancy Trust after visiting the Weyhill bird sanctuary with her husband.
After taking part in the Great South Run, staged in Portsmouth, Tanya from Salisbury collected £713 for the trust. It will help buy a £3,000 incubator for the endangered oriental white backed vulture.
The trust helps save rare and endangered species and it's predicted that without captured breeding programmes the oriental white backed vulture will die in the wild in three years.
