ANDOVER Advertiser photographer Hannah Powell has passed her professional photography course with flying colours.

Hannah who has been working for the newspaper for three years, completed her level four NVQ under the tuition of John Bigglestone at his Devizes Wharf studio.

The portfolio work Hannah submitted for the course includes studio photographs and pictures taken while completing assignments for the Andover Advertiser.

To pass the photography NVQ, she had to get to grips with wavelengths, colour temperatures and lighting.

Andover girl Hannah, aged 24, is the second generation of her family to work for a newspaper - her father Nic used to work as a print originator for the Andover Advertiser.
