SARISBURY Theatre Company are engaged in toilet humour - quite literally - as the group perform a comedy that is set primarily in the ladies' and gents'!
Willie Russell's Stags and Hens is a hilarious and insightful study of working class attitudes and the rituals of marriage.
Set in the kipper-tie and flare-filled 70s, Dave and Linda are getting married.
They are both out on the town with their pals having that last fling of singledom.
Unfortunately, the stags and hens end up in the same tacky club.
Disaster is sure to strike if the bride and groom meet and Linda's pals are determined to keep them apart.
The two groups retreat to the ladies' and gents' as the sounds of the disco era filter in.
Starring as Eddie, ringleader of the stags, is Neil Miller.
Neil, 30, says: "As the whole play centres on boys versus girls, we have rehearsed separately and this has really helped to keep the production fresh."
Neil, who hopes to soon have an acting agent in London and work professionally in TV and film, is no stranger to stag nights.
He adds: "I can relate to the booziness but have never ended up in a loo all night - yet!"
Sarisbury Community Centre, Sarisbury Green on October 29 and 30. Performances: 8pm.
Tickets: £6. Box office: 023 92 375249 or e-mail: info@dramagroup.co.uk
