WESTGATE School in Winchester, a specialist science college, yesterday celebrated the official opening of new and refurbished laboratories.
The school's spent £650,000 on the project.
The super-sized labs, opened by Philip Winfield of school partners INTECH, have up-to-the minute technology fitted to take teaching and learning to the next level.
Vinay Sharma, head of science at Westgate, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for our pupils. We are really excited about how we can move science forward and use technology to make pupils realise how dynamic and important science is to their everyday lives."
