SOME artists release greatest hits albums, some perform tours and others write biographies to celebrate their greatest hits.
But Status Quo are taking the bull by the horns and doing all three.
They are performing a mammoth 40-date tour, which will be stopping off at Portsmouth Guildhall on Friday, November 5, and at Bournemouth International Centre the next day, as well as at The Anvil, Basingstoke, on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 16 and 17. The ambitious rockers certainly have their work cut out for them, as this month they have been promoting their XS All Areas album.
The XS All Areas book has recently been published too, making Status Quo one of the hardest-working bands of today.
Tickets are already on sale for the tour. Last year's tour was a sell-out and Quo's huge army of fans are sure to be out in force once more for these rocking shows.
Tickets are priced from £26.50. For more information call the box offices: Portsmouth Guildhall - 023 9282 4355, Bournemouth International Centre - 08701 113 000 and The Anvil - 01256 844244.
