YOUNGSTERS at a New Forest school will no longer be scratching their heads over a common illness after a performance from secondary pupils.
Drama students from Priestlands School in Lymington visited Brock-enhurst Primary School to perform their show Nit Picking.
Jillian Strath, head of drama at Priestlands, said: "Around 20 students in costumes as giant lice and young children infested the corridors of Brockenhurst and took to the stage to demonstrate their desire to spread throughout the population of the school.
"Myths about how they spread and unusual cures were crushed as the humans got to grips with more effective rem-edies. The cast had the children singing, screeching and participating in the show."
A spokesman for Brockenhurst Primary School said: "Brockenhurst was thrilled with the performance and the standard of drama was exceptional and the students and staff thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Priestlands."
