THE BASINGSTOKE synchronized squad had a successful opening to their season at the British qualifier in Nottingham.
Both the senior team, Storm, and the novice team, Sparkle, came home with gold medals, and the juvenile team, Stardust, won bronze.
All three teams are now looking forward to the second British qualifier in Sheffield on November 21. The Basingstoke squad have paid tribute to their sponsors, Hamp-shire county council, Hampton sponsored ride, Basingstoke & Deane council and CIO Connect.
