ROMSEY & Totton Swimming Club (RATS) were runners-up in round two of the H&SC Junior Cup at Fareham on Saturday.

Danielle Giles got the event off to a perfect start for RATS, winning the girls U14 100m breaststroke in 1:32:25.

Jonathon Dibben had a personal best in the boys U12 50m butterfly for second before RATS made their move.

Hannah Sutcliffe led the way, winning the girls U13 50m freestyle, a result backed up by the girls U14 4x1 medley relay, boys U14 4x1 medley relay and the girls U13 4x1 medley relay teams.

Wins by Jonathon Dibben (boys U11 50m backstroke), Jacob Coy (boys U14 100m butterfly), Simon Underwood (boys U12 50 breaststroke) and Jacob Dunning (boys U13 50m butterfly) kept the points flowing.

The boys U13 team (Jacob Dunning, Jordan Gosney, Luke Taylor and William Harper) also won in 1:05:04.
