Hamble Harriers played their get-out-of -jail-free card in winning 2-1 at Cutbush against Classic Com Res in Senior 1.

Ian Waterfall headed home their opening goal but Comrades levelled through John Tibiri. Hamble kept their perfect start going, though, as Robbie Jesson struck a late winner.

JUNIORS:

Bevois Castle had only ten men against London Airways so did not have anyone to run the line.

Sportingly, Airways, who won 7-2, provided someone otherwise Castle would have had to play with nine.

Not even a great performance form veteran keeper George Day could prevent Millbrook United from wining 2-0 against AFC Aldermoor.

Day pulled off a string of fine first half saves, but he went off at half-time feeling a bit dizzy with the game still goalless.

AC Sholing moved into the second promotion position in Division 6 with a 3-1 win at Westfield. The teams meet again this week at the Veracity.

Poor Wildern OB's fought back from 4-1 down against North Baddesley Reserves to level at 4-4 thanks to the inspirational Richard Jablonski, only to leak a fifth right at the death.

VETERANS:

The top B Division clash saw Albion maintain their 100 per cent record with a 4-1 win over previously undefeated Hythe Aztecs.

In the A Division the introduction of Adam Handley and Mark Barrett, who both netted, proved the vital spark as Nursling recovered from 2-0 down at Compton to draw 2-2 draw.

The Southampton FA cup draws will be in the Pink on Saturday, along with Rod Sutherland's Drew Smith League round-up. Don't miss it!
