A PROGRAMME that helps young people back into work has won backing from Southern Water.
The Hampshire company is to sponsor the Prince's Trust, which runs 12-week personal development courses for people aged 16 to 24.
The 15 volunteers who have just completed the course spent three weeks at Springhill Primary School, in Hill Lane, giving the gardens a facelift.
They raised more than £800 through a charity car wash, bag packing at local superstores, and a 120ft sponsored abseil, to buy equipment and plants to brighten up the school grounds.
