Former Hampshire golf champion Kirsty Taylor has comfortably qualified to keep her place on the European Ladies Tour for 2005.
The young lady from the Sandford Springs Club, Basingstoke, finished 50th in the final order of merit after the last of the tour events in Spain.
With the top 90 qualifying for next season, Kirsty got through with relative ease despite earning just 19,073 euros, which is chicken feed compared to the 50th player's earnings on the men's tour.
Best performance of the season from Kirsty came in the Tenerife Open in April when she finished in seventh place.
She followed up with a top 30 place in France's Arras Open then took 11th place in the first Central European Open in Hungary.
Kirsty qualified an impressive fifth for the prestigious Weetabix British Open but disappointingly trailed home 70th.
