IF a boy you know has always dreamt of seeing his name up in lights and has a flair for showbiz, then perhaps it is time for him to get down to The Mayflower theatre in Southampton.
For its forthcoming production of Peter Pan starring Paul Nicholas and Big Brother winner Nadia Almada, the theatre is inviting talented boys between the ages of seven and 12 to audition for the roles of Michael and John.
In the story of Peter Pan, Michael and John are Wendy's brothers who fly with her to Neverland to experience the fun, danger and adventure of this magical world.
These characters are key parts within the story, so this is a great opportunity for budding actors in the local area.
The auditions will take place between 10am and noon on Saturday, with registration in the theatre foyer at 9.30am on the day. It is important that the young hopefuls should wear shoes with non-marking soles, be prepared to read and must be no taller than 4ft 10in.
Peter Pan will be coming to The Mayflower in December. For more information and to book tickets call: 023 8071 1811.
