UP to 1,000 in-line skaters are descending on Southampton tomorrow to take part in the city's annual Euroblade event.
The streets of the city will be closed to traffic as hordes of English and French 'bladers' get their skates on during a ten-mile skate around city centre landmarks.
The event, now in its fourth year, is a collaboration between South-ampton City Council and its twin French city of Le Havre.
Skaters from across the city are expected to join with hundreds of their counterparts from across the Channel to take part in the marathon skate, starting from St Mary's Stadium in Northam at 9am.
Skaters are due to take in the famous sights of Southampton along the route, including the Central Parks, the Bargate, Southampton Common, Mayflower Park and Ocean Village.
Hampshire police will be helping to marshal the route as well as organising roadblocks.
